Our history
2025: Expansion into the USA multifamily buildings market.
2025: Shortlisted for the Housing Digital awards for Fire Safety Innovation for social housing.
2024: We expanded our operations into the United Kingdom with the support of Resideo.
2024: Our office in Trondheim, Norway opened.
2024: We added Water Leak Shut Off Valves into our platform.
2023: Resideo, a global leader in smart home and security solutions, acquired sfty, allowing us to expand our reach and accelerate growth.
2022: We added Water Leak detection devices from Resideo into our platform.
2019: Our office in Bergen, Norway opened.
2017: We were honoured with an international innovation award at CES in the 'Smart Home' category.
2016: sfty business formed in Oslo, Norway as a fully certified solution for smoke detection in multifamily properties.
