sfty Control: Everything in one place
The sfty Control Management Portal serves as the central information hub for property managers, offering a streamlined, user-friendly interface for monitoring device status across common areas and individual apartments. sfty Control supports messaging to residents and issues a weekly report to property managers with a summary of events, device status and an archive of alarm reports.

Smoke detection
sfty Sense is an advanced optical smoke alarm that also measures temperature, humidity and motion, connecting to WiFi and contributing to communal smoke alarms for the building.

Water leak detection
The water leak sensor can detect water leaks and then alert the resident. The device can trigger an SMS notification to the resident, while also sounding an audible alarm. Neighbours below the flat, the board, and the caretaker can, depending on how the sfty platform is configured, receive notifications via the app or the sfty Control dashboard.

Water leak shut-off valve
In addition to sending notifications and alerts, our water leak solution can be integrated with a shut-off valve, allowing the water supply to be stopped at the source. This added feature can help reduce further water damage quickly and effectively, providing enhanced protection and peace of mind.

sfty Sense alarm escalation:

Discover
When smoke is detected, sfty Sense alarms can trigger an alarm throughout the affected home if the resident does not clear the alarm within 3 minutes. The resident can, depending on the configuration, receive incident notification via SMS.

Confirm
If no false alarm is registered by the resident or in the case of a smoke alarm being confirmed or if no response has been received from the resident, the alarm will signal to the nominated admins and also, subject to contract, contact the monitoring station/ emergency services with detailed information about the location and residents.

Notify
The connected sfty Sense devices in the building can trigger an alarm response and sound throughout the building to notify residents.

Communicate
Residents can, depending on how their app and the sfty Platform is configured, receive app and SMS notifications with information about where in the building a smoke alarm has been triggered and the evacuation route.

Discover
When smoke is detected, alarms trigger throughout your home. You will also receive an incident notification via SMS and a remote alarm monitoring station will be automatically alerted to contact you and verify the alarm. All sfty devices in the building go into countdown mode, 3 minutes until alarm escalation.

Confirm
If no false alarm is registered by you or in the case of a confirmed fire or no response, the alarm will signal to the nominated building admins and relay the full alarm to the monitoring station/ emergency services with detailed information about the fire location, resident data, and fire status.

Notify
At this point, all of the sfty devices throughout the building common areas and individual properties will trigger an alarm response and sound throughout the building to notify all residents to evacuate.

Communicate
Your neighbours and other building residents will also receive app and SMS notifications with information about where in the building the alarm has been triggered, and where they should evacuate to.

From our first hello to final installation, we are with you every step of the way
Get in touch
Send us an e-mail or call us. We can arrange a date and time to discuss your project in more detail.
Site inspection
After a scoping call, we usually arrange a no obligation on-site inspection. We’ll review your existing systems, infrastructure and pain points, and get to know the building and your needs.
Proposal
After the site inspection we will prepare a detailed proposal and pricing. We can present this in person to a wider management team or your residents if required.
Installation
Our discrete, wireless devices are quick to install. Depending on the required number of devices, local facilities and local regulations, typical installations take no longer than 15-20 mins per apartment.
Requirements
The sfty platform is designed to primarily use the building's or residents' personal 2.4 GHz WiFi access points and internet connection to report device status and relevant alerts. Continuous access to such WiFi access points and internet connection must be given in order for the sfty platform to work as intended. The sfty Sense (smoke detection) devices (but not the water leak devices or water shut off valves) create a mesh network between them to add network resilience but several connections to the internet are required in order for the system to work as intended. A separate internet-backhaul connection can be provided but is invoiced separately.
Receipt of alarms and alerts is dependent on third party network communications infrastructure and user preferences, amongst other things. Certain sfty features, such as sending SMS, are invoiced based on usage.
Sfty collaborates with third party alarm monitoring stations to receive and action smoke alarms. These services are subject to a separate contract between the building manager and the alarm monitoring station.
Sfty collaborates with third parties where the installation of smoke detectors or electrical equipment is specifically regulated by local law. Sfty does not draw up or sign off on building fire safety plans or any changes to them.
No system guarantees the prevention or detection of all fires or water leaks or associated damage and losses. Building safety is complex, encompassing factors like compliance with building, water and fire regulations as well as proper configuration and maintenance of all alarm and detection devices. The sfty platform is only one such component and its effectiveness depends on its proper configuration, suitable placement of sfty-compatible devices, appropriate coverage of the building with sfty-compatible devices, regular maintenance (including batteries, mains connections and plumbing of the shut-off valve, if installed), reliability of internet connectivity and adherence to sfty's instructions and operating manuals. All connected features of the sfty Sense, water leak detection device and water shut off valves can terminate if your contract with sfty for the sfty platform terminates.
Other technical and compatibility requirements as well as sfty's standard terms and conditions apply.
